Using a gyroscope
Recordings made with "Built in" mode in EP Animations or EP Latencies can be enhanced with gyroscope data for more accurate tracking
Using the gyroscope can correct for head rotation during recordings, or be used to recognise assisted saccades or similar movements
I have also experimented with testing the VOR using a gyroscope
After recording, a gyroscope.csv file is saved to the recording directory, alongside the video. The Eye Precision results view can open the gyroscope data as a graph underneath the eye movement data, and provide corrected tracking information
Eye Precision programs currently work with the Phyphox app for iPhone and Android, or with the WitMotion WT61C
