Calibrating the gyroscope

Both WitMotion and Phyphox gyroscopes are calibrated in the same way. The calibration is used to show the Eye Precision programs which gyroscope movement is Pitch, Roll and Yaw

The first time you use a gyroscope you should always calibrate it. Calibration only needs to be repeated if the gyroscope/smartphone is positioned differently in other uses

For Phyphox gyroscope use, I recommend positioning the phone upright (portrait mode) with the screen facing outwards, on the back of the test subjects head

To calibrate the gyroscope, ensure that it is in position on the test subject's head, connect the gyroscope to EP Animations or Latencies, and click on "Calibrate Axes"

Follow the instructions on the screen, making the movement as instructed. The program will read the gyroscope data and detect which movement is being performed
